I got to know Von while visiting my Aunt Margaret and Uncle Algernon and cousin Ben Neal. Lindsey Burton was my father. The Neal families shared a driveway (before Cypress Street was there) as I recall. Von always made me laugh and his ineffable love of life and having fun made a great impression on me. My condolences to Mrs. Hooper and her family. His peace be with you.
