Kenneth Stafford “Boss” Williams, 70, of Reidsville went to be with the Lord Saturday August 12, 2017 at the Hospice Home of Rockingham County.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
A native of Moore County NC, he was a son of the late Robert S.”Bob” and Geneva Frye Williams and had lived most of his life in Reidsville. He was retired from the automobile industry and was a member of the Rockingham County Gun Club. He loved and was dedicated to his grandchildren, and his nieces and nephews. Ken was a member of the Laymans Home Missionary Movement, enjoyed off road racing and was preceded in death by a brother: Johnny Williams.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years: Judi Fowlkes Williams of the home, daughter: Lynne W. Chilton (Rodney) of Reidsville, son: Justin Williams (Michelle) of Reidsville, grandchildren: Seth Williams, Olivia Williams, Ryan Chilton, Matthew Chilton, and Hannah Vantrease, sister: Karen Williams and fiancé Mike Brandon of Reidsville, brother: Dennis Campbell (Ann) of Reidsville, special friend loved like a daughter: Beth Stephens Shoemaker of Ruffin.
Memorials may be sent to: Hospice of Rockingham County P.O. Box 281 Wentworth, NC 27375.
The family will see friends at the home of his daughter: Lynne Chilton 264 Woodlyn Dr. Reidsville, NC on Sunday August 13, 2017 Noon till 7:00 P.M.
Citty Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Ken through RCGC. He always made me smile and it warmed my heart to see his family with him. He spoke of his wife, children, and grand-children with appreciation and pride. You all are in our thoughts and prayers.

My prayers go out to this beautiful family..it started off we me attending school with Justin..as a result of that friendship..i met his father who became my work Dad and he treated me as his son..Ken always had my best interest at heart..i love you KEN WILLIAMS THANKS FOR TOUCHING MY LIFE..
