Terry Wayne Haywood, 61, died at his residence.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00pm Sunday, April 9, 2017, at Citty Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Tolodziecki officiating, the family will see friends from 1:00 till 2:00PM Sunday, April 9. 2017, at the funeral home prior to the service. Burial will follow the funeral service in Reidlawn Cemetery.
A native of Rockingham Co., he was a son of Betty Moricle Hagwood and the late Hornsby “Scooter” Hagwood and he had lived in Reidsville all of his life. Terry or Hag as he was known by many, was a member of Grace Fellowship at South Park (formerly First Congregational Christian Church), a former employee of the American Tobacco Co., and an avid N. C. State fan. He enjoyed golf, trips with friends and family to Myrtle Beach and Beach Music, but most of all he loved and enjoyed his friends. Terry taught his brother, Dale, his love for Beach Music, the Embers, the Eagles, and Alabama.
Surviving is his mother; Betty M. Hagwood of Reidsville, brother; Dale Hagwood and wife; Melanie of Reidsville, step-son; Shaun Kleber and wife; Patti of West Wildwood, NJ; step-grandsons; Dustyn, Liam, and Keegan Kleber of West Wildwood, NJ, best friends; Julie Thomas and Sandy Smith of Reidsville, nephews; Sam and Matt Hagwood of Reidsville, niece; Becky Hagwood of Reidsville, aunts; Ella Mae Carter and Charlotte Baker both of Reidsville, uncles; Lonnie Hagwood of Orangeburg, SC and Ted Hagwood of Conway, SC.
