Obituary


Kelly Ann Kendall McKinney,54, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday evening, May 15, 2017, at Annie Penn Hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00AM Thursday, May 18, 2017, at Thompsonville Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Campbell officiating and burial will follow in Highland Burial Park in Danville, VA.
A native of Danville she was a daughter of Ben and Ethel Winn Kendall and had lived in the Williamsburg Community of Rockingham Co. for the past 18 years. Kelly Ann was a graduate of Artistic Beauty College in Danville, and had been an employee of Looking Ahead Beauty Salon for over 30 years. She was a very active member of Thompsonville Baptist Church and she loved being a member of the Hope Sunday School Class. Kelly Ann was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, & sister and everyone that got to know her immediately loved her. She had a love for animals and would take in any strays that happened to come her way.
Surviving is her husband; Steven E. McKinney of the home, son; Sterling McKinney of the home, her parents; Ben and Ethel Kendall of Danville, VA, sister; Beverley Winn Kendall of Gibsonville, brother; David Benjamin Kendall (Tanya) of Charlottesville, VA., Kelly Ann is also survived by her family at Looking Ahead Beauty Salon, as well as 2 Special brothers-in-law, 3 sisters-in-law, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will see friends from 6:00 till 8:00PM Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at Thompsonville Baptist Church and at other times at the her of her sister-in-law; Kim Williams 555 Trails End Rd. Reidsville, NC 27320.
