Mack Arthur Everette,70, went to be with the Lord on Friday morning, May 19, 2017, at Annie Penn Hospital.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at 2:00PM Sunday, May 21,2017, at First Baptist Church with Dr. Bill Duke officiating. The family will see friends immediately following the service at the church and at other times they will be at 135 Shadowood Ln. Reidsville, NC 27320.
A native of Reidsville, he was a son of the late Ross Wilson Everette and Lucille Chambers Everette and had spent most of his life in Reidsville. Mack was a firefighter for the Reidsville Fire Department and retired after 30 years of service as Battalion Chief. He worked for many years for Carolina Tire Co. and he also had a hardwood flooring business. Mack was a member of the First Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his parents and by brothers; Duane Chambers, Bill Everette, & Weldon Everette, and by sisters; Barbara Everette Smith, & Faye Everette Terry.
Surviving is his wife; Claudia Barber Everette, daughter; Donna Everette & fiance; John Doss, sons; Theo Fargis (Kelly) & Jordan Fargis (April), grandchildren; Alek Fargis, Maddie Coates, Dawson Stanley, Riley Fargis, Camdyn Fargis, & Amelia Fargis, brothers; Roger Chambers (Kay), Tommy Everette (Kathy), & Ronnie Everette all of Reidsville and many nieces and nephews.

I met Mack over 30 years ago when I went into the real estate business. He was a quiet spoken man that you just simply knew was genuine in all he did. A master at hardwood floors! I have been blessed to have known him.
