To all the family my deepest and heartfelt condolences. I grew up just two houses down from Von and as a kid in the small town of Reidsville was treated more like a grandchild by Von's Mother and Father than a neighborhood kid and by Von, I was treated like a little brother. Von twas very proud of his greenhouse and as he should be. I too had family in the same business (Barbers Florists) so surprised or not Von had a young mind a couple houses away that was always interested in what he was doing and what he was growing. He also shared his collection of shotguns with me, explaining this and explaining that. Von, that stuff stuck because I am a collector today. I am saddened to read of your passing and I hope for God's peace for your family. I will be seeing you again one day my friend.
