Joann Wilson Wray, 66, of Reidsville went to be with the Lord Sunday November 12, 2017 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Tuesday November 14, 2017 in Evergreen Memory Gardens.
A native of Rockingham County, she was a daughter of the late Willie P. and Mildred Southard Wilson and had lived in Rockingham County her entire life. She was a former employee of Monarch Hosiery in Glen Raven, and Unifi of Reidsville and later worked for Cardinal Cleaners in Reidsville. She was preceded in death by brothers: Paul Wilson, Curtis Wilson and Tommy Joe Wilson and her sister: Linda Starnes.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years: Cecil Wray of the home, sons: Roy L. Wray (Norma), James A. Wray (Ann) and Jerry L. Wray all of Reidsville, brothers: Jerry Southard (Linda) of Reidsville, Raymond Wilson (Diane) of Ruffin, James “Jimmy” Wilson of Eden, and Michael Wilson(Sherry) of Reidsville, sisters: Elaine Stone (Doug) and Colene Howard(Roy) both of Reidsville, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will see friends 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. Monday November 13, 2017 at Citty Funeral Home and at other times will be at the home of her sister: Elaine Stone 348 Adams Rd. Reidsville

You will forever be loved and missed dearly JoAnn its sad that the lord wanted to take such a wonderful angel from us to soon, but we know that your no longer in pain and no longer suffering; as wellas being in the good lords presence and watching down on us...
